A Bit About Me

I have a background in music, art, education and counselling. I live in Cairns, which is in far North Qld, Australia…a really beautiful place close to the Barrier Reef.

I enjoy writing, creating 2D/3D virtual art, composing, teaching guitar and playing computer games. I like building my own computer systems and have explored music production via my computer set-up. I am especially interested in how certain music styles impact upon and shape our states of mind and/or mood. I will be publishing some of my meditation music to this site soon .

When I was around 21 years of age, I had an accident where I lost 2 and a half fingers, from my left hand – I’m left-handed by the way and the top part of my index finger is a transplant from my middle finger.

When my accident happened, I was playing in a band at the time; so it really threw me and I had to work hard to rebuild my life and my mental state. I realised that I wasn’t immortal anymore and had to change some things in my life, in order to accommodate my new disability.

Currently I enjoy marketing, but I have struggled to find something that has a worthwhile value for people, and that would also be worthwhile for me business-wise plus give meaning to what I do. Health has always been important to me (I suffered from asthma growing up) and I guess for most people, health needs to be thought about and considered from time-to-time through-out their lives…for some it is more often.

So this is where I’m currently at. I hope this blog provides useful information and links to various services that will assist people in their current and future health, wealth and creativity.
